Michael's Obituary
Michael Brophy, 67, of South Haven, died on Monday, April 7, 2014 at the Lakeland Regional Medical Center in St. Joseph, Michigan. He was born February 7, 1947 to Thomas Patrick and Marguerite (Agnew) Brophy in Brooklyn, NY. Michael served for 22 years at the St. Petersburg Fire Department in Florida. He was a member of the American Legion and V.F.W.
He is preceded in death by his father.
Michael is survived by his mother – Marguerite of Inverness, FL; wife – Eileen (Abby) Brophy of South Haven; children – Michael and Andrew Brophy; siblings – Patrick Brophy of Orlando, FL, Donald Brophy of Inverness, FL, Marguerite (Ronald) Riley of Kissimmee, FL, and Denise Brophy of New York City, NY. Two grandchildren, Aiden Nichole Brophy and Gage Ryan Brophy also survive.
A memorial gathering will be held celebrating Michael’s life at 12:00 P.M. on Monay, April 14, 2014 at the American Legion in South Haven.
