Lorrie's Obituary
Lorrie “Burt” Clements, 68, of Bangor, Michigan, returned to his Heavenly Father on Saturday, April 12, 2014 in his home. He was born January 29, 1946 to Thomas V. Sr. and Marie T. (Nottingham) Clements. Burt worked as a lead worker for Coca Cola/Minute Maid in Paw Paw for 28 years until his retirement in 2011. Burt was an avid fisherman and Ford enthusiast. He loved to read novels on history and current affairs. Burt also loved to listen to music and play his guitar.
He is preceded in death along with his parents by his sister - Lois Butler and brother - Thomas Clements Jr.
Burt is survived by his wife - Shelley Clements; Children – Amber (Tim Karcher) Henderson of South Haven and Camden “Scott” (Samantha) Henderson of Benton Harbor; grandson – Gavin Henderson; Siblings - Gerry Zulinksi of Dearborn Hights, MI and Colleen Allie of Highland, Michigan; special four footed friends – Little Girl, Winston, Jasmine, and Cody.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM on Friday, April 18, 2014 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home of South Haven. A memorial service will follow visitation at 1:00 PM with Pastor Tony Moore officiating at the funeral home. Contributions may be made in Burt’s memory to the South Haven Hospice at Home and the Wounded Warrior Project.
