Bruno's Obituary

 

Bruno Bernard Kromelis, 76, of Glenn, passed away on Thursday, May 8, 2014 at his home under Hospice care. He was born on September 3, 1937 to Jonas and Gertrude (Petereit) Kromelis in Lithuania. Bruno worked as a baker for Cicero Rye Bread in Chicago for 48 years until his retirement in 1999. Bruno enjoyed working on cars and being outdoors. Bruno loved the beach and being a part of the Glenn community

He is preceded in death along with his parents by his brother – John Kromelis and sister – Irene Vaitkus.

Bruno is survived by his wife of 32 years – Donna (Williamson) Kromelis; two daughters – Laura (Bill) Nyberg and Irene Maculius both of Logan, Utah; four grandchildren – Tyler, Austin, and Savannah Nyberg and Addline Maculius; two brothers – Pete (Linda) Kromelis of Glenn and Joseph Kromelis of Chicago; sister – Erika (Jim) Singree of Kenai, Alaska.

Visitation will be from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home of South Haven. Funeral services will follow visitation at 4:00 PM at the funeral home with Rev. Randy Skeens officiating. Contributions may be made in Bruno’s memory to Holland Hospice, 270 Hoover Blvd, Holland, MI 49423.
