Carol Marie Holmes

Carol Marie Holmes, 53, of Watervliet, Michigan passed away, Monday, August 4, 2014 at the Lakeland Regional Medical Center. She was born July 18, 1961 in Benton Harbor, Michigan, to Gustave W. and Anne Murial (Crafton) Radke Sr. After high school, Carol went on to earn an associate's degree in accounting from Jordan College in Benton Harbor. On January 19, 2003, she married her husband, Jimmy "Homer" Holmes. She worked as a CNC operator for over 12 years at Ausco Products. Carol found joy in crocheting, fishing and tending to her plants. She also loved country music and Tigers baseball.

Carol is preceded in death by her parents, her husband and her grandson, Zachary Pietrzykowski.

She is survived by her fiance, Larry Adams, her children; Tim Adams of Watervliet, MI. Monica Adams of Holland, MI. Jennifer (Eric) Adams-Stenske of Benton Harbor, Michigan. Amy Adams of Port Charlotte, FL.  Her grandchildren; Blake Pietrzykowski, Aryana Jackson, Sabryna Adams, Katarina Easley, Thomas Adams, Angel Bledsoe, Eric Stenske Jr., King Stenske, Ava Ward, Sarah Gunn. One great-grandson, Jesse Gunn. Her siblings, Bill (Shelly) Radke of Coloma, MI, Debby Radke of St. Joseph, MI, Monica "Carol" Harris of Sturgeon Bay, WI, Linda Radke of Coloma, and Patricia Radke of Anderson, IN.

Visitation will be Monday, August 11, 2014 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow on Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Carol will be laid to rest at the McDowell Cemetery in Casco Township. Memorial contributions may be made in Carol's memory to the Adams family.
