Thelma's Obituary
Thelma D. DeLisle, age 85, of Kalamazoo, passed away on Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at The Fountains. Thelma was born January 12, 1929 in Terre Haute, IN to George and Thelma (Simms) Hamilton. In 1947, she was united in marriage to Raymond P. DeLisle who preceded her in death in 1999.
Surviving are her children – Susan DeLisle of Laurium, MI, Thomas (Kim) DeLisle of Dade City, FL, Debra DeLisle of Parker, CO, and Mark (Beverly) DeLisle of South Haven, MI; nine grandchildren; three great grandchildren; brother – George Hamilton of Jacksonville, FL.
She was preceded in death by two sisters – Lena Pool and Kate Gobin.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Friday, August 8, 2014 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home in South Haven. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM at the Mt. Ever Rest North Cemetery in Kalamazoo. Contributions may be made in Thelma’s memory to the Animal Rescue Project, 219 Peekstock, Kalamazoo, MI 49001.
