Autry's Obituary
Autry Eugene McPeak, 73, of Pullman, passed away on Monday, August 25, 2014 under Hospice care. He was born April 17, 1941 to Wade and Loretta (Jones) McPeak in Portageville, Missouri. Autry worked at Bohn Aluminum as a truck driver for over 30 years. Autry loved to fish, hunt, and spend time gardening and at one time loved to bowl. He especially enjoyed spoiling his grandchildren.
He is preceded in death along with his parents by his wife – Gloria (McFadden) McPeak; son, Jerry McPeak; brother – Charles McPeak; grandson – James Mitchell.
Autry is survived by his children – Annette (Chester) Brown and Bonnie McGowan both of Portage, Patrick McPeak of Pullman, Raymond (Terri) McPeak of Niles, and Scott McPeak of Mason City, Iowa; siblings – Billy (Kay) McPeak of Norton Shores, MI, Jimmy McPeak of Bangor, Margie Molette of Wyoming, MI, Phyllis Reyna, Brenda Blanchard, Alice Bradford, and Wade (Peggy) McPeak all of South Haven; three grandchildren – Charles, Jasmine, and Autry Mitchell; one great grandchild – Elias Lara.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 – 4:00 PM on Friday, August 29, 2014 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home of South Haven. Memorial services will follow visitation at 4:00 PM at the funeral home with Pastor Michael Schmid officiating. Autry will be laid to rest at Chambers Cemetery in Geneva Township.
