Martin's Obituary
Martin Rafael-Queriapa, 49, of South Haven, passed away on Thursday, September 4, 2014 at the South Haven Health System. He was born December 21, 1964 to Miguel Rafael and Maria Del Luz Queriapa in Mexico. Martin worked at Magna International for 16 years.
He is survived along with his parents by his wife – Irma Rafael; children – Alma Diana, Oscar, Leonardo Martin, Kaylene, and Alice Rafael; siblings – Alicia Torres of Battle Creek, Juana and Crstobal Rafael both of Mexico, Miguel Rafael, Maria Chaves and Jose Luis Rafael all of Holland.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM on Saturday, September 6, 2014 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home of South Haven. Visitation will continue from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Macedonia Baptist Church in Holland on Saturday. Funeral services will be held at 9:00 AM on Sunday, September 7, 2014 at the Mesadonia Baptist Church in Holland with Pastor Marcial Burgos officiating. Martin will be laid to rest at 1:00 PM on Monday, September 8, 2014 at Chambers Cemetery in Geneva Township.
