Judith Darlene Hostetler

Judith Darlene Hostetler, 74, of South Haven, passed away on Monday, September 22, 2014 in South Haven. She was born October 21, 1939 to Ransom Craft and Virginia Baxter in Benton Harbor. Judy married Leon L. Hostetler on October 26, 1957 in Benton Harbor.  She was a fan of the Detroit Tigers. Judy loved shopping and spending time with her grandchildren and friends.  Judy worked for many years doing day care at her home.

She is preceded in death along with her parents by her husband – Leon L. Hostetler; her siblings – Joyce, Kenny, Tommy, Junior, Dennis, and Virginia.

Judy is survived by her children – John (Lori) Hostetler of Greenville, Dennis (Lori) Hostetler of Holland, Michael Hostetler of Paw Paw, and Tina Hostetler of Winter Springs, FL; siblings – Larry Adams of Watervliet, Nancy (Phil) McNair of Gaston, NC. Six grandchildren also survive – Lance, Josh, Brett, Gregory, Jack, and Katie and two daughter-in-laws – Krista Beal and Kris Booth.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Thursday, September 25, 2014 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home of South Haven. Funeral services will follow visitation at 7:00 PM at the funeral home with Pastor Tim McGee officiating. In honor of Judy’s memory, guests are encouraged to wear Detroit Tigers attire. Judy will be laid to rest next to her husband Leon at Lakeview Cemetery in South Haven. Contributions may be made in Judy’s memory to Hospice of Holland.
