Tony's Obituary
Tony Couturier age 53 of Fennville and formerly of South Haven died at his home on Saturday, October 4. Tony was born on August 29, 1961 in Dowagiac, Michigan to Jerry and Carolyn (Dameron) Couturier. Tony was a 1980 graduate of South Haven High School. Tony has worked as a phone technician for GTE/Verizon since 1987. Tony married Debra on April 6, 1995. Tony loved to bowl, go camping and fishing. He was a member of Hope Reformed Church, Loyal Order of the Moose and the American Legion.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jerry and Carolyn Couturier.
Surviving is his wife - Deb Couturier of South Haven. Three sons - Joe (Amanda) Johnson of South Haven, Randy Johnson of Chicago, Illinois and Cody Couturier of South Haven. One daughter - Kaitlyn Couturier of South Haven. One grand daughter - Quinn Johnson. Three brothers - Wayne and Paul Couturier both of South Haven and William Couturier of Oklahoma.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, October 7, 2014 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Filbrandt Family Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Wednesday, October 8, at 11:00 AM at Hope Reformed Church with Rev. Curry Pikkaart officiating. Tony will be laid to rest in Lakeview Cemetery, South Haven. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Wings of Hope Hospice or to the American Cancer Society.
