Kenneth's Obituary
Kenneth Ray Porter, 64, of South Haven, MI passed away Thursday, October 16, 2014 in South Haven, MI. He was born September 3, 1950 to William and Minnie (Cummins) Porter, in South Haven, MI. After graduating from high school, Kenneth attended four years of college. He married his wife Bunny Williams in 1974. Kenneth worked as a quality assurance engineer at Bohn Aluminum. He retired in 2004. Kenneth was also a member of the South Haven Moose Lodge.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Kenneth is survived by his wife, Bunny. His children; Timothy (Stacey) Porter of South Haven, MI, and Derek Porter of St. Clair Shores, MI. His grandchildren; Lindzey Porter, Erynn Blanchard and Carson Blanchard. His siblings; Mary (Daniel) Emerick of Fennville, MI and Stanley (Joanne) Porter of Bangor, MI. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held Monday, October 20, 2014 from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 4:00 P.M. officiated by Pastor Aaron Cobbs. Kenneth will be laid to rest at the Chambers Cemetery in South Haven, MI.
