Robert's Obituary
Robert Reed Lawson age 55 of South Haven died Thursday, October 23, 2014 at Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo. Robert was born on April 29, 1959 in Oakhill, West Virginia to Lawrence and Lora Lawson. Robert worked construction jobs his entire life. He loved nature and the out of doors. Robert was free spirited, generous and had a huge heart for others.
Surviving are his children - Robert Lawson Jr. and Lana Lawson. Grandchildren - Landin R. Lawson, Cameron Lawson, Ahren Durg, Carson Durg, Sarah Durg and Bonnie Lawson. Brothers and sisters - Delores Stultz of Fort Wayne, IN, Cecelia (Les) Keson, Florence Kelly, Larry (Pam) Lawson, Elmer (Judy) Lawson all of South Haven, Cleveland (Martha) Lawson of Wingo, KY, Jim (Penny) Lawson of Concord, MI, Elaine Lawson of Fort Myers Beach, FL, Rick (Anna) Lawson, Roberta (Dana) Kuenzli and Angie (Terry) McPike all of Bangor. Special friends - Barb Scott, Francine Scott and Greg Dixon also survives.
He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother - Lucian Lawson.
Memorial Services will take place on Thusrday, October 30, at 2:00 PM at the Hartford Church of God, 525 Haywood St.with a luncheon to follow the service. Friends wishing to make a memorial contribution can do so to Robert's family. Robert will be laid to rest in Lakeview Cemetery in South Haven.
