William's Obituary
William R. Guimond of South Haven, Michigan died Friday, October 17, at the Serenity Adult Foster Care Home at the age of 80. He was born on January 4, 1934 in Manistee, Michigan to William E. and Alta Anice (Joseph) Guimond. Bill grew up in Onekema, Michigan and graduated from Onekema High School in 1952. Bill worked as a custodian for many years at various businesses. Bill loved doing things with his hands including craft projects. He was an avid cribbage enthusiast.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Mildred, and his parents.
He is survived by his brother - Ted (Margaret) Guimond of South Haven, Michigan. Sister - Barbara Johnston of Austin, Texas. One niece - Linda Johnston and five nephews - Michael Johnston, Scott Johnston, Bruce Johnston, Andre Guimond and Anthony Guimond.
Memorial Services will take place on Saturday, November 8, at 11:30 AM at the First Congregational Church UCC of South Haven with Pastor Jeffrey S. Dick officiating. The family will visit with friends prior to the service beginning at 11:00 AM.
Bill will be laid to rest in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Onekema, Michigan.
