Tommy's Obituary
Tommy Lee Pruitt, 57, of South Haven, passed away on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at his home under Hospice care. He was born May 2, 1957 to Winford and Rita (Knapp) Pruitt in Kalamazoo. He married Barbara Roe on May 31, 1989 in Allegan. Tommy loved to fish and spend time gardening. He enjoyed watching NASCAR and cheering on his favorite driver, Jeff Gordon.
He is preceded in death along with his parents by his sister – Debbie Pruitt.
Tommy is survived by his wife – Barbara Pruitt of South Haven; three step children – Hope Huitt of South Haven, Heather Munro of Grand Junction and Heidi (Paul) Woodruff of Marne, MI; four brothers – Danny (Marlene) Pruitt of Grand Rapids, Bobby (Vicky) Pruitt of Bottle Creek, Richard (Amy) Hinds and Jimmy (Sally) Pruitt both of Plainwell; two sisters – Tracey (Dick) Short of Plainwell and Robin (Mike) Wyatt of Battle Creek. Ten grandchildren also survive.
