Barbara's Obituary
Barbara Jane (Eisner) Laney, 73, of South Haven, passed away on Sunday, December 21, 2014 at her home under Hospice care. She was born August 18, 1941 to Fred and Beulah (Land) Taylor in Decatur, MI. She married Robert A. Eisner on February 13, 1966 in Paw Paw. Barbara worked as a private duty nurse and in nursing homes. She was an avid reader and enjoyed arts and crafts.
She is preceded in death along with parents by her husband – Robert A. Eisner; brothers – Arthur Willobee and Bobby Taylor; son-in-law – Tracy Murk.
Barbara is survived by her children – Judy (Fernando) Ibarra of South Haven, Bethany Murk of Bangor, Michael Hughes of South Haven, David Hughes of Lacota, Steve Eisner of Paw Paw, and Robert (Leslee) Eisner of Lacota; two sisters – Sue (Len) Johnson of Hesperia, MI and Ruth Layde of Zephyr Hills, FL. Eleven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren also survive.
Private family services were held. Barbara will be laid to rest at Monks Cemetery in Geneva Township.
