Polly's Obituary
Polly LaVerne Anderson, 84, of South Haven, passed away on Sunday, January 11, 2015 at the Hanson Hospice Center in Stevensville. She was born January 21, 1930 to Vernon and Lillian (Pruitt) Holmes in South Haven. Polly married Donald Anderson on November 1, 1991.
She is preceded in death along with her parents by her husbands – Donald Anderson who passed in 2011 and Robert Diebold who passed in 2013; three brothers – George, Curtis and Robert Holmes.
Polly is survived by her children – Robert Diebold of Santa Rosa, CA, Lindie (Kieran) Spain of Dublin, Ireland, Judie (James) Carpenter of Bakersfield, CA, David (Emily) Diebold of Dublin, Ireland, and Julie Diebold of South Haven, Catherine (Dennis Carlson) Taber of Benton Harbor and Randall (Vickie) Anderson of Orlando, FL. 17 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews also survive. She is also survived by her dedicated care givers – Persie Kimble, Sharrene Wells, and Gail Ohnsman.
Services will be scheduled at a later date. Contributions may be made in Polly’s memory to South Haven’s Hospice at Home or the Hanson Hospice House in Stevensville.
