Gerald's Obituary

Heaven gained another angel, when Gerald Kish, 69 of South Haven, passed away peacefully, February 2, 2015 in his home, in the comfort of his dear friends.  Gerald enjoyed being with his extended family, the Johnston's.  He spent many hours watching sporting events that involved his "family". He cherished the time spent with his family gardening, going out to eat, trips to Blue Chip and so much more.  He enjoyed selling fruit at the Kalamazoo Fruit Market and going camping. He worked as a farmer for many years at Ruell Farms.

Gerald has left behind a loving family that was born from the bonds of friendship, not blood.  Best friend, Gina Johnston, whom he loved as a daughter, and the Johnston children which he always thought of as his own grandchildren, Drew, Ayden, Aibrey, and Anders.

Gerald will be forever loved and missed in the Johnston family.  He was a one of a kind man that would do anything for his family and gave his family so many memories that will carry them through this life until they meet again.  He is also survived by his twin brother, Jimmy Kish. He is preceded in death by his wife Carolyn Kish in 2001.
