Betty's Obituary
Betty Jane Brown, 85, of Bangor, passed away Friday, March 13, 2015 at her home under Hospice care. She was born February 22, 1930 to Chester and Rhoda (Taylor) Hawley in Flint, Michigan. Betty worked at Pittsfield Filters in Dexter, Michigan for 28 years. Betty enjoyed gardening.
She is preceded in death along with her parents by siblings – Jim Hawley, Myrtle Graves, Beniden Jones, and Oliver Hawley.
Betty is survived by her children – Chuck (Connie) Budreau of North Platter, Nebraska, Judy (Tom) Tranker of Bangor, Michigan, Terry Budreau of Wisconsin, and Mike (Dana) Budreau of Atlanta, Georgia; sister – Edith Pelton of Dexter, Michigan.
A funeral luncheon will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at the VFW in South Haven, 1070 South Bailey Avenue, South Haven, Michigan 49090. Contributions may be made in Betty’s memory to the Hospice of South West Michigan, 222 N. Kalamazoo Mall, Suite 100 Kalamazoo, MI 49007-3882.
