Violet's Obituary
Violet “Hale” Coker, 86, of South Haven, passed away Sunday, February 22, 2015 at the South Haven Nursing and Rehabilitation Community. She was born December 27, 1928 to Jessie and Elsie Hale in South Haven. She married Eugene Thomas Coker on November 15, 1946. Violet worked as a nurse’s aide at the South Haven Community Hospital for 35 years. She loved her Great Danes and Yorkshire dogs. She was a member of the First Church of God in South Haven.
She is preceded in death along with her parents by her husband – Eugene; daughter – Judy Coker; brothers – Hershal and George Hale.
Violet is survived by her son – Tom (fiancé, Amanda) Coker of South Haven; siblings – Thelma Owens of Benton Harbor, Juanita (Carl) Warfield of Anchorage, AK, Larry Hale of Grand Rapids and Terry Hal e of South Haven.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
