Bruce's Obituary
Bruce Harold Vander Weele of Chicago, Illinois entered into the presence of his Lord and Savior on March 23, 2015 at the age of 60. He was born May 13, 1954 in Chicago to Harold and Elizabeth Vander Weele.
He attended South West Chicago Christian Schools and graduated from Trinity Christian College in Palos Heights, Illinois.
Bruce spent much of his adult life in Grand Rapids, Michigan and moved to Chicago, Illinois in 2011. He enjoyed Bible study, chess, playing his guitar, and exploring the city.
He was preceded in death by his Father, Dr. Harold Vander Weele and bother-in-law Jouke Vander Wey.
He is survived by his mother, Elizabeth of South Haven, Michigan and siblings: Susan (the late Jouke)Vander Wey of Tweed, Ontario, Aileen (Dale) Meyer of Urbandale, Iowa, Laura, (Kenneth) Macqueen of New Lenox, Illinois, Colleen (Monte) McMartin of Kalamazoo, Michigan, Maribeth Vander Weele, of Chicago, Illinois and Joel (Tami)Vander Weele of Palos Heights, Illinois and 12 nephews and nieces and 8 grand nephews and nieces .
