Bobby's Obituary
Bobby Lee Lemmons, Sr., 66, of South Haven passed away Monday, May 11, 2015 at his home under Hospice care. He was born September 16, 1948 to Manuel and Ivalee (Palmer) Lemmons in Berrien Springs, Michigan. Bobby served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War in Korea. He worked in transportation for JM Jones in Illinois and then as a cable supervisor in Illinois. Bobby enjoyed recycling and socializing with his friends. He loved to fish and to tell stories.
He is preceded in death along with his parents by a daughter – Melissa Hillock and three brothers – Darrell, Billy, and Larry Gene Lemmons.
Bobby is survived by his wife – Pamela “Sissie” Lemmons of South Haven; children – Bobby Lee Lemmons and Bret Lee (Cindy) Lemmons both of South Haven and Dawn Dorsey of Rayne, Louisiana; siblings – Manuel Tomas Lemmons of Grand Junction, Theresa (Rick) Copeland of South Haven, and Jerry Paul Lemmons of Bangor. Five grandchildren and four great grandchildren and many other family and friends also survive.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, June 14, 2015 at the American Legion Post 160, 19 North Center Street, Bangor, Michigan 49013.
