Shirley's Obituary
Shirley Ann Love, 79 of South Haven, Michigan, passed away Thursday, June 11, 2015 at her home. She was born September 23, 1935 to Leo and Cecilia (Ogradowicz) Banaszak Sr in Chicago, Illinois. On August 1, 1964 she married her husband, Norman Love. In her younger years, she enjoyed horseback riding and caring for animals. Shirley loved to cook. She also enjoyed fishing and gardening. Most of all, Shirley enjoyed spending time with her family.
Shirley is preceded in death by her parents. Daughter - Laurie Ann Love who died in 1967. Siblings - Ray, Jimmy and Ernest Banaszak Sr.
She is survived by her husband - Norman Love of South Haven, MI. Children - Linda (Bud) McElyea of Kennett, MO, Randy (Kim Rhives) Love of Gladwin, MI, Pam (Ken) Goff of South Haven, MI, Kim (Gil Logan) Love of Coloma, MI. Eleven grandchildren. Siblings - Leo (Shirley) Banaszak Jr. of Fennville, MI, Dorothy (Ken) Struble of Sodus, MI, Ruth (John) Jackola of Portage, MI.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at the Grand Junction Cemetery. Shirley will be laid to rest in the Grand Junction Cemetery in Columbia township. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the South Haven's Hospice at Home at 05055 Blue Star Highway, South Haven, MI 49090.
