Florence's Obituary
Florence Augusta Boatwright, 85, of South Haven, passed away Sunday, July 26, 2015 at her home under Hospice care. She was born April 13, 1930 to Mary Fuller in Breedsville, Michigan. Florence loved playing games including BINGO, card games, and the instant lottery. She also cherished spending time with her family.
She is preceded in death along with her parents by her children – Otto Rhoades, Kenny Teal, and Wanda Teal; siblings – Sherman, Clarence, and Bertie Fuller and Lena Kish.
Florence is survived by her children – Sharon (Larry) Grigsby of Watervliet, Norman Landeck of South Haven, Michael Rhoads of Paw Paw, and Cathy (Silver) Rodriguez of Zeeland, Michigan; grandchildren – James (Sue) Krcma, Tammy, Andrew, Thomas (Krystal) Warren, Kryssi, Bart, and Casey Rhoades. She is also survived by her best friend, her dog – Bingo.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home in South Haven. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, July 30, 2015 at the Funeral Home with Pastor Anthony Kunezli officiating. Florence will be laid to rest at Breedsville Cemetery. A luncheon will be held at the Calvary Missionary Baptist Church following services, 419 Cherry Street, South Haven, Michigan 49090.
