Michael's Obituary
Michael F. Jackson, 57, of Phoenix, Arizona and formerly of St. Joseph, MI, is at last free from the wheel chair on May 23, 2015 when he passed away at the Sun View Care Center in Youngtown, AZ. He was born November 17, 1957 to William and Evelyn Jackson in St. Joseph, Michigan. Michael attended St. Joseph Public Schools. After moving to Texas he worked at the DFW Airport until a car accident in 1979 left him wheel chair bound. He resided in Bangor, MI for many years before moving to Arizona in 2013.
He is survived by his Mother – Evelyn Semand of South Haven, and siblings- Kenneth Jackson of Santa Fe, NM, Susan Banks of Frankfort, KY, Nancy (Jim) Scott of Frankfort, KY, and Janis (Clay) Greiffendorf of South Haven. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 15, 2015 at the First Baptist Church in South Haven with Pastor Jerry Koller officiating. A luncheon will be held following memorial services. Contributions may be made in Michael’s memory to the First Baptist Church of South Haven, 1635 76th Street, South Haven, Michigan 49090.
