Estelle Price

Esther (Estelle) Price, 84, of South Haven, went to be with her husband, Hyman, on Sunday, September 13, 2015, surrounded by her family at her home. Esther was born February 18, 1931 in Chicago, Illinois to Louis and Sylvia Chiz. Esther married Hyman Price on October 14, 1951 in Chicago, Illinois.

Esther is preceded in death along with her parents by her husband Hyman, two brothers Morrie and Sherman and a sister Florence.

Esther is survived by three sons – Louis (Susan) Price of Lawton, Michigan, Harold (Amy) Price of Tracy, California and Stuart (Jenny) Price of South Haven, Michigan, seven grandchildren –Rachel (Brandon Miller), Sam, Sarah (Alex Messenger), Tyler, Jessica, Ashley and Hannah and two great grandchildren – Gabriel and Hunter. One sister – Anne (John) Stern of Darlington, Wisconsin, two sister-in-law’s - Lillian Reich of Skokie, Ill and Selma Chiz of McHenry, Ill. also survives, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services and burial will be Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. at the First Hebrew Congregation Cemetery in South Haven with Rabbi Alan Cohen officiating. A luncheon will be held following memorial services at the First Hebrew Congregation, 249 Broadway Street, South Haven, MI 49090.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to The First Hebrew Congregation or South Haven Hospice at Home. Shiva will be sat Wednesday at the Price home.
