Karen's Obituary
Karen Marie Collins, 59, of Allegan, passed away Sunday, October 4, 2015 at the Ely Manor. She was born June 11, 1956 to Milo and Doris (Hoey) Collins in Port Huron, Michigan. Her family later moved to South Haven where Karen attended and graduated from South Haven Public Schools. She went on to Western Michigan University where she studied nursing. While she wasn’t able to finish her education, Karen did enjoy school. Karen enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, crafts, the beach, and music – especially Earth, Wind, and Fire, Stevie Wonder, and many other artists. She will be missed dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Milo and Doris and her brother Dennis Collins.
Karen is survived by her son, Jermayne Collins, brother, Milo Collins, and the man in her life Daniel Johnson. She is also survived by her grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Greater Faith Community Church of South Haven on Saturday, October 10, 2015.
