Larry's Obituary
Larry Walker, 63, of South Haven, died October 18th, 2015 at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo, Michigan. He was born March 9th, 1952 in Osceola, Arkansas to Jessie and Dorothy Walker. Larry loved music, sports, and walking. He was one of the best singers of his time.
He is preceded in death along with his parents Jessie Walker who died in 2006, Dorothy walker who died in 2001, sister - Ola Bickham 1998, niece – Deborah Chalk 2003, nephews – Aubrey Harrington 1980 and Terrance Mackerel 2006.
Larry is survived by five brothers – J.C. Robinson of Florida, Joseph (Crystal) Walker of Grand Rapids, Charles Gray of South Haven, Bobby (Eunice) Walker of South Haven, Jessie (Ericka) Walker of Bangor; two sisters – Mattie Livers of St. Joseph and Annette (Kenneth) Harrington of South Haven. A host of nieces, nephews, and friends also survive.
Wake will be held from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM on Saturday, October 24th, 2015 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home of South Haven. Funeral services will follow the wake at 1:00 PM at the funeral home with Bobby Walker officiating. Larry will be laid to rest at the Covert Cemetery in Covert Township.
