Peter Paul Reyna

Peter Paul Reyna, 64, of South Haven, passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at his home under Hospice care. He was born February 28, 1951 to Bobby and Teodora (Solis) Reyna in Tyronza, Arkansas. Peter married Gloria Mireles on June 23, 1973 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Hartford. Peter served his country in the United States Air Force and National Guard from which he retired from. Peter worked in manufacturing for Avion in Benton Harbor and at Coloma Frozen Foods. Peter also worked in construction before retiring in 2004. He was the book keeper for both the American Legion and Loyal Order of the Moose where he was also former governor and enjoyed volunteering his time for. Peter enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed the time spent with his grandchildren.

He is preceded in death along with his parents by his siblings – Johnny and Lupe Reyna, and a nephew – Insidrio “Nach” Reyna.

Peter is survived by his children – Gracie Reyna of Fennville, Peggy (Rey) Vazquez, Peter Reyna, and Gilbert Reyna all of South Haven; siblings – Bobby Jr. of South Haven, Eddie of San Antionio, Paul of Lawton, Raymond of Pharr, Texas, Robert of Lawton, Rudy (Becky) Reyna of Mattawan, and Mary (Jose) Rodarte of Hartford. Twelve grandchildren, one great grandchild and former spouse – Gloria Reyna also survive.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home of South Haven. Funeral services will follow visitation at 1:30 at the funeral home with Rev. Father Robert Flickinger officiating.
