Donald's Obituary
Donald E. Hentschel, 84, of South Haven, passed away Thursday, November 26, 2015, at the Holland Hospital. He was born December 2, 1930 to J.D. and Doris (Shaffer) Hentschel in Watervliet. Donald married Marie Drowns on July 198, 1955. He worked as a color mixer for Watervliet Paper for 20 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Donald is survived by his wife of 60 years – Marie Hentschel of South Haven; children – Mary Lee (Frank) Friese of French Village, Missouri, Michael (Tina) Hentschel of Walhalla, Michigan, Donald F. (Laura) Hentschel of South Haven, Elaine (Bill) Bowie of South Haven, Jay (Patricia) Hentschel of Palmetto, Florida, John (Dawn) Hentschel of Pullman, and Flo (Pouncho) Kauras of South Haven; sister – Joann (Bob) Motto of Orland Park, Illinois.
A memorial gathering will be held at 4:00 PM on Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at the American Legion Post # 49 in South Haven.
