Diann Lee Tosh

Diann Lee Tosh, 65, of South Haven, passed away Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at her home. She was born October 6, 1950 to Mike and Marilyn (Ray) Banic in LaPort, Indiana. Diann worked as the director of Food Service for Harford Public Schools for five years and then South Haven Public Schools for twenty years before retiring in 2013. She also served as President of the School Nutrition Association of Michigan. She was a member of the American Legion Post #49 and VFW in South Haven and would help with organized dinners. Diann owned her own catering business. Diann enjoyed traveling and riding motorcycles.

She is preceded in death by her son Andy Tosh who passed in 2014 and brother Robert Albert Banic.

She is survived by her son Wayne (Keri) Tosh of Portage, Indiana, siblings – Michael (Leda) Banic of Hartford, Mark (Theresa) Banic of Bangor, and Brian Banic of Hartford, grandchildren – William (Liz) Tosh and Zachary Tosh, and great grandchildren – Bryson and Skylar Tosh. Many nieces and nephews also survive.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, April 7, 2016 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home of South Haven. A memorial luncheon will be held from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at the American Legion Post #49 in South Haven. Contributions may be made to the Tosh Family at 1076 S.
