William's Obituary
William “Bill” Gregory Barnes III, 71, of South Haven, passed away Thursday, June 23, 2016 at the South Haven Health System. He was born May 30, 1945 to William and Dorothy (Behrman) Barnes in South Haven. Bill graduated from South Haven High School in 1963 and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business from Ferris State University. He served his country as a Staff Sergeant in the Michigan National Guard South Haven Division for 16 years. Following his service, Bill owned and operated the North Side Memories in South Haven from 1984 until 2014. He married Lucille Earls on March 17, 1994. Bill enjoyed hunting, walking, and being in the sun.
Bill is survived by his wife of 22 years – Lucille Earls-Barnes of South Haven, brothers -Tom (Sherry) Barnes of Fennville and Jim (Joan) Barnes of Phoenix, Arizona, and aunt – Barbara Sutton of South Haven.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
