George's Obituary
George Plunkett, 89, of South Haven, passed away Saturday, October 8, 2016 at the South Haven Nursing and Rehabilitation Community. He was born February 14, 1927 to Oscar and Elsie (Armstrong) Plunkett in Terre Haute, Indiana. George married Jessie Maynard on April 21, 1946 and shared 69 years of marriage until her passing in 2015. George once worked at Steel Center Supply in South Haven. He loved attending auctions, buying and selling at his little business, Billy’s Used Furniture which he named after his grandson.
George is survived by his daughter – Rita (Jerry) Grover of South Haven, grandson – Bill Alexander, great granddaughters- Kylee Hines and Delilah Alexander, and brother – Stanley Plunkett of Phoenix, Arizona.
Memorial services will be scheduled at a later date.
