Joy Geraldean Clark

Joy Geraldean Clark, 79, of South Haven, passed away Monday, October 24, 2016 at her home in Geneva Township. She was born July 7, 1937 to Alice Cooper in Texas. Joy married Jack Clark on December 25, 1958 in South Haven and share 48 years of marriage until his passing in 2006. Joy worked for the DeGrandchamp Blueberry Plantation for 25 years before retiring in 2004. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, and bird watching. Joy also enjoyed spending her time doing puzzles, gardening, and coloring. She was a member of the Church of God in South Haven.

She is preceded in death along with her parents and husband by one son – Richie Clark who passed in 2003.

Joy is survived by her children – Susan (Ciro) Badillo of Bangor, Debbie Clark of Eagle, Michigan, Janet (Ted) Dutmer of Kingsley, Michigan, and Charles Clark of Kerrville, Texas, grandchildren – Wes, Chuckie, Sarah, Joy, Pinkie, Zachary, and Amber, and siblings – Jerry Cooper of South Haven, Michigan and Caroline of Oklahoma.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Friday, October 28, 2016 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home in South Haven. Funeral services will follow visitation at 11:00 AM with Pastor Steve Starks officiating at the funeral home. Joy will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband Jack in Lakeview Cemetery in South Haven.
