Patricia Ann Nikolich

Patricia's Obituary

Patricia Ann Nikolich, formerly from South Haven, Michigan and a current resident of Greenwood, Indiana, passed away on the morning of Saturday October 29th, 2016 after a tough battle with lung cancer.  Pat, 86, was the second daughter of Harley and Maxine Raymond and was born in Chicago, Illinois on July 24th, 1930.

After graduating high school from Central High School in 1948, Pat started working at General Telephone Company as a telephone operator in South Haven.  Based on her love for helping others, she later became a nurse’s aide at the Martin Luther Nursing Home and then at South Haven Community Hospital before ultimately retiring.  Pat loved to go fishing, play bingo and have breakfast with friends, but more than anything family came first and she loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Pat was preceded in death by her husband Radovan Nikolich, sister Francis Spencer and son Douglas Guminski.

She is survived by her daughter Harleen Schombs of Cape Coral, Florida., her three sons, Thomas Guminski of Quincy, Indiana., Gregory Guminski of Cape Coral, Florida., and Russel Martin of Beech Grove, Indiana, her 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 5th, 2016 at 2:00pm at Lakeview Cemetery in South Haven, Michigan. with Pastor Joe Lull officiating.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the American Cancer Society to help others that are suffering with this disease and to continue the fight to cure cancer.
