Jay's Obituary
Jay Harvey Baldwin, 79, of Grand Junction, passed away Monday, November 14, 2016 at the South Haven Health Systems. He was born January 31, 1937 to Byron Baldwin and Helen (King) Wise in Baltimore, Maryland. Jay earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics and belonged to the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation. He worked as a Physicist Technician at Fermilab in Illinois. He married Sherley Tice on August 1, 1984 in San Diego, California.
He is preceded in death along with his parents by siblings – Byron and Harold Baldwin and Betty Flint.
He is survived by his wife – Sherley Baldwin of Grand Junction, children – James (Donna Sue) Oakley of South Bend, David (Kim) Baldwin of De Forest, Wisconsin, and Brenda Baldwin of West Salem, seven grandchildren – Patrick, Heather, Jacob, Nathan, Samuel, Chris, and Jennifer, siblings – Jackie Marsh of Wisconsin, Helen (Jim) Edwards of Mylan, Michigan, and Barbara (Robert) Pullano of Portage, Michigan.
Visitation will be held from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM on Sunday, November 20, 2016 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home of South Haven. Funeral services will follow visitation at 3:30 PM at the funeral home.
