Mark Alan Holtzman

Mark Alan Holtzman, 54, of South Haven, passed away Sunday, December 11, 2016 at his home under Hospice care. He was born June 4, 1962 to Donald and Mary (Heinze) Holtzman in Canoga Park, California. Mark graduated from South Haven High School in 1980. He married Barbara Hackett on May 22, 1993 at Peace Lutheran Church in South Haven. Mark enjoyed his farm work and owned Holtzman Blueberries. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and snowmobiling and cherished time with his family. He was a member of Life Bridge Church.

He is preceded in death by his father – Donald Holtzman and son Eric Holtzman.

Mark is survived by his wife Barbara Holtzman of South Haven, children – Heidi Holtzman of Elkhart, Indiana, Jasmine Hackett of Kalamazoo, Branden Holtzman of South Haven, and Bradley Holtzman of South Haven, mother – Mary Holtzman of South Haven, and sister – Dawn (Doug) Raska of Houston, Texas.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, December 15, 2016 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home and 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM on Friday, December 16, 2016 at the Life Bridge Church, 10420 M-140, South Haven, Michigan 49090. Memorial services will follow visitation at 1:00 PM on Friday, December 16, 2016 with Pastor Milan Bittenbender officiating at the church. Mark will be laid to rest next to his son Eric at Monk Cemetery in Geneva Township. Contributions may be made in Mark’s memory to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22478 Oklahoma City, OK 73123.
