Frankie's Obituary
Frankie L. Key, 68, of Pullman, passed away January 3, 2017 at his home in Lee Township. He was born July 20, 1948 to Dalton and Nancy (Smith) Key in Jefferson, Missouri. He was true Southern Boy who enjoyed working on his cars, collecting, eagles, and flying his Confederate flag.
He is preceded in death by his four brothers – Steve, Jerry, Mike, and Tonnie, four sisters – Wanda, Joyce, Patsy, and Sharon Sue.
Frankie is survived by his companion of twenty years – Mary Ann Murphy, his four children – Frankie (Yolanda) Key, Jr., Angie (Orlando) McKenzie, Amanda (Bob) Harbison, Margaret (George) Tazelaar, nine step-children – David, Sam, Van, Mattie, Earl, John, and Lillian Miller, Shiann (Huey Smith) Westcott, and Kathy (Gabe) Sparks, brothers – Ricky and Kenny Key, best friends – Rob and Annie VanWy, 38 grandchildren, and 35 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Friday, January 6, 2016 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home in South Haven. Funeral services will follow visitation at 12:00 PM at the funeral home. Contributions may be made in Frankie’s memory to the Key Family at 1076 S. Bailey Avenue, South Haven, Michigan 49090.
