Bonnie's Obituary
Bonnie Jean McGowan, 50, of Kalamazoo, passed away February 20, 2017 at her home in Kalamazoo. She was born February 27, 1966 to Autry and Gloria (McFadden) McPeak in South Haven. Bonnie worked a variety jobs at Pinnacle Foods in Fennville and Dean’s Foods in Wayland. She also worked at Countryside Nursing Home in South Haven and for Summit Polymers, Inc. in Portage. Bonnie enjoyed collecting KISS and The Walking Dead memorabilia.
She is preceded in death along with her parents by a brother – Jerry McPeak and nephew – James Mitchell.
Bonnie is survived by her siblings – Annette (Bruce) Evans of Pullman, Patrick McPeak of Pullman, Raymond (Terri) McPeak of Niles, and Scott McPeak of Mason City, Iowa. Two nephews, a niece, and two great nephews also survive.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 with Pastor Mick Schmid officiating at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home in South Haven. Bonnie will be laid to rest at Chambers Cemetery in Geneva Township.
