Ella's Obituary
Ella May Hester, 87, of South Haven, passed away Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at her home under Hospice care. She was born May 14, 1930 to Earl and Minnie (Hoyt) Sanders in Oswego, New York. Ella worked for the City of South Haven for many years in the Parks Department before her eventual retirement.
She is preceded in death along with her parents by her husband of 63 years, Harold Hester, daughter – Linda Vining, and one grandson.
Ella is survived by her son – George Hester of Florida, grandchildren – Heather Penrod of St. Petersburg, Florida, Heidi Cuticchia of Hamilton, Ohio, William Vining of South Haven and Frank “Joe” Lind, Jr. of South Haven, siblings – Bob, Don, Jane, and Joan, eight great grandchildren – Samantha, Rebecca, Amanda, Dalton, Nathan, Zackary, Aaron, and Kaitlyn, and two great-great grandchildren – Everett and Rowen.
Family services will be held at a later date.
