Linda's Obituary
Linda Kay Beckwith, 75, of Grand Junction, passed away Sunday, July 30, 2017 at her home surrounded by friends and family. She was born June 7, 1942 to Jack and Kathryn (Quick) Crouch in Lansing, Michigan. Linda married Raymond Beckwith on June 25, 1959 in Paw Paw and shared 44 years of marriage before his passing in 2002. Linda worked at Everett Piano, Walmart, and MacDonald Drug Store in South Haven. She enjoyed ceramics, scrap booking, reading, puzzles, and taking trips to the casino. Most of all, Linda enjoyed spending time with family and friends at the lake. She loved her cats, Cinder and Smokey.
She is preceded in death along with her husband and parents by her brother – Dennis Crouch.
Linda is survived by three daughters – Leigh Ann (Jeff) Newby of Kalamazoo, Dawn (Farren Laurens) Beckwith of South Haven, Kristin (Rick) Goodwin of South Haven, and sister – Heather Williams of Boise, Idaho. Eight grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren also survive.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, August 3, 2017 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home in South Haven. Contributions may be made in Linda’s memory to the American Cancer Society Hope Lodge at 129 Jefferson SE, Grand Rapids, Michigan 49508.
