Hazel's Obituary
Hazel L. Kolhoff, 87, of South Haven, passed away Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at the Countryside Nursing and Rehabilitation Community in South Haven. She was born December 9, 1929 to Howard and Ida (Telford) Johnson in Orland, Indiana. Hazel married Earl Kolhoff on November 3, 1951 and shared 40 years of marriage before his passing in 1991.
She is preceded in death along with her parents and husband by siblings – Robert and Pauline Johnson and a grandchild – Matthew Huffman.
Hazel is survived by her children – Jerry of Bangor, Richard of South Haven, and Michael Kolhoff of Grand Junction, Susan Huffman and Patsy Kolhoff both of Hartford, brother – Charles Johnson, and sister – Margaret Smith of Fennville. Three grandchildren, one great grandchild, and many of an adopted family also survive.
