Irene Louise Fisher

Irene Fisher age 71 of South Haven died Saturday, August 19, 2017 at the home of her daughters in Hudsonville, Michigan. Irene was born Dec. 7, 1945 in South Haven to Clyde and Gloria Marr. Irene was a 1964 South Haven High School graduate. She then earned her cosmetology certification. Irene was a beautician for 33 years at her residence for many men and women of South Haven and Casco. Irene married Bill Fisher on August 31, 1990 at the Casco United Methodist Church. Irene enjoyed going to casinos, spending time watching wild birds outside, and was an avid bowler. She also liked camping at her and Bill’s property near Walhalla, Michigan called Camp No Buck. Irene loved spending time with her cats FeeBe and Momma. Her favorite candy was Butterscotch.

She is preceded in death by her parents and husband Bill Fisher who died in 2008.

Surviving is her daughter – Shelly (Josh Faucett) Jones of Hudsonville, Michigan. Two sons – Mike (Michelle Henry) Fisher of South Haven, Michigan and Ken Fisher of Pallmento, Florida. Four grandchildren – Torey (Chris) Noora, Kameren McKamey, Dominick Fisher and Jenna Fisher. One great granddaughter – Emery Rose. Five brothers – Dennis (Jane) Marr, Gary (Pep) Marr, Wayne (Sherry) Marr, Dale (Carol) Marr and Mike (Sue) Marr. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Visitation will be Thursday, August 24, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home in South Haven. Graveside services will follow at 11:30 AM at McDowell Cemetery in Casco Township. Friends wishing to make a memorial contribution can do so to St. Judes Childrens Hospital.
