Cecil's Obituary
Cecil Ray Keen, 53, of South Haven, passed away Saturday, December 9, 2017 at the Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo. He was born December 13, 1963 to Cecil and Mary Lou (Bingham) Keen in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Cecil loved to fish and was a talented artist and enjoyed drawing.
He is preceded in death by his father – Cecil Ray Keen, Sr. who passed in 1985.
Cecil is survived by his children – Tonya (Jan) Hintze of Zeeland, Brandy (Heather Wallace) Thompson of Lexington, Kentucky, Jessie Dawn Keen of South Haven, and Heather Mercado Shearer of Holland, fiancée – Darla Morrison, mother - Mary Lou Keen of South Haven, grandchildren – Ethan and Brycen Shearer, and Shailynn Singh, brothers – Gene (Melissa) Keen of South Haven, Freddie Moore of Tennessee, Danny Keen Sr. of South Haven, Joe Keen of South Haven, Tommy (Nancy) Garcia of Kalmazoo, and brother-at-heart - David Napier of South Haven, and his beloved dog – Molly. Several nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles also survive.
Visitation will be held from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM on Friday, December 15, 2017 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow visitation at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with Pastor Steve Starks officiating.
