Dana's Obituary
Dana Dewayne Bray, 69, of Covert, passed away Saturday, February 3, 2018 at the Bronson Methodist Hospital in South Haven. He was born April 21, 1948 to Pauline Bray in Gary, Indiana. Dana worked maintenance for the South Haven and Bangor Banking Centers. He also enjoyed making movies. He married Ann Lockett on January 9, 2003 in Cassopolis, Michigan.
He is preceded in death by his brother – Jerome.
Dana is survived by his wife – Ann Lockett-Bray of Covert, son – Shaw (Helen) Williams, daughter – Wanda Murray, step-children – Tashiki Coben, Yashica Lockett, and James Robertson, sister – Paulette Harvey, and grandchildren – Talisa, Lashawn, Kyntrena, and Shawn Williams, Jr., September Green, TraShawn, Ethan, Samara, LaWanda, and La’Neah Williams, Shontae, Ashley, Camery, and Anthony Murray, and eleven great grandchildren.
Wake will be held from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home in South haven. Funeral services will follow the wake at 1:00 PM with Pastor Dre Love officiating. Dana will be laid to rest at Covert Cemetery in Covert Township.
