Mieko's Obituary
Mieko Harumi Merrill, 88, of Grand Junction, passed away Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at her home under hospice care. She was born April 16, 1929 in Fukokia, Japan. Mieko married Gene Merrill on May 21, 1962 in Japan. Mieko enjoyed camping, fishing, sewing, crocheting, and making dolls.
She is preceded in death by her parents, a brother, and sister.
Mieko is survived by her husband of 56 years, Gene Merrill.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home in South Haven. Mieko will be laid to rest at Lee Township Cemetery.
