Edward Allen Anderson

Edward Allen Anderson, 72, of Pullman, passed away Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at the Holland Community Hospital. He was born August 24, 1945 to William and Agnes (Reinstra) Anderson in South Haven. Edward graduated from Fennville High School with the Class of 1962. He honorably served his country in the United States Navy for four years during the Vietnam War. He married Sandra Daleiden on August 24, 1968 at the Pullman Congregational Church. Edward retired from the Union Local #525 Carpenter Union in 2003. He enjoyed building things and puttering around in his garage. He also enjoyed watching old westerns and sharing candy with the kids. Edward was a life member and past commander of the Pullman VFW #6134.

Edward is survived by his wife of 49 ½  years – Sandra Anderson of Pullman, children – John (Esmeralda) Anderson of Fennville, Patrick Anderson of Dallas, Texas, Adam Anderson of Detroit, and Stephanie Anderson of Holland, grandchildren – Lisa (Nate) Gonzales, Amber Anderson, Tiffany Miller, Angela Anderson, Meghan Anderson, AJ Anderson, and Nicole Anderson, great grandchildren – Daevion and Amiya, siblings – Richard (Veronica) Anderson of New Harmony, Indiana and Judy (Othal) Shephard of Zeeland, Michigan.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Sunday, March 11, 2018 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home in South Haven. Memorial services will follow visitation at 3:00 PM at the funeral home.
