Michelle's Obituary
Michelle Helen Borden, 46, of Bangor, passed away Sunday, March 4, 2018 at her home. She was born September 15, 1971 to Dale and Mary (Burns) Clayton in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Michelle graduated with the Bangor High School Class of 1991. She later became a CNA and a licensed nail tech in the State of Michigan. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, enjoyed writing in her journal, and doodling.
She is preceded in death by her mother – Mary Clayton and son – Shawn Borden.
Michelle is survived by her daughter – Kayla Borden of Bangor, grandchildren – Kayden, Joseph, and Alyssa, siblings – Dale “DJ” (Christina) Clayton of Coloma, Charlotto (Cherrie) Kaiser, Charmin (Tooter) Wood, and Mary Anders, and former spouse – Russell “Chuck” Borden.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, March 8, 2018 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home in South Haven. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, March 9, 2018 with Mr. Doug Clayton officiating at the funeral home. Michelle will be laid to rest Thomas Cemetery in Bangor Township.
