Rowan's Obituary
Rowan Elisabeth Marr, 5, of South Haven, passed away Monday, May 7, 2018 at the Bronson Hospital in South Haven. She was born April 13, 2013 to Nick and Jessi (Oulton) Marr in Kalamazoo. She attended pre-school at the St. Basil Catholic School. Rowan loved to dance and sing, read, play soccer, and draw pictures of rainbows, her family and friends. She also enjoyed helping take care of her younger brothers and being a princess.
She is survived by her parents – Nick and Jessi Marr, siblings – Chase and Cole Marr, grandparents – Laurie and Richard Oulton of South Haven and Carol and Dale Marr of Bangor, great grandparents – Linda “Mimi” and Ron “PawPaw” Calhoun, aunts – Taylor (Matt) Gwin and Monica (Manuel) Copeland, uncle – Jordan Oulton, and cousins – Casey, Julie, and Jacob Copeland, and Penelope Gwin. Many beloved great aunts and uncles also survive.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home in South Haven. A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, May 11, 2018 at the St. Basil Catholic Church with Father Jim Morris officiating.
