Myrtle's Obituary
Myrtle Rosemary Peckstein, 88, of South Haven, passed away Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at the Holland Hospital. She was born April 30, 1930 to Lawrence and Mary (Balich) White. Myrtle married Harold Peckstein on July 21, 1951 at the St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church in South Haven. They shared 65 years in marriage before his passing in 2016. Myrtle worked for many years at Taits Book and Art Shop and later South Haven Office Supply from where she retired after it became Radio Shack. Myrtle and Harold were known for their corn and pumpkins later in their retirement years.
She is preceded in death along with her parents and husband by brothers – John, Richard, and Larry White, sister - Bea Merriman.
Myrtle is survived by her son – Dennis (Linda) Peckstein of South Haven and grandson – Jamie (Kelly Tungate) Peckstein of Allegan, sister - Clara Wildt, and brother-in-laws - Ray and Karl Peckstein.
Private family services have been held.
