Ruth L. Dibble

Ruth Louise Dibble, our loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away at age 90, at Hanson Hospice Center in Stevensville, Michigan on December 22, 2018. 

Ruth was born in Breedsville, Michigan on October 12, 1928, to Charles Edward Fuller and Louise (Stanley) Fuller. Ruth resided most of her life in South Haven and worked for the South Haven Rubber Company until retirement. She was a member of the South Haven Moose Lodge and the American Legion.

Ruth was preceded in death in 1990 by her husband, Jack Lyle Dibble. Ruth is survived by her children Ran Dibble (Lorriane), Gail Pratt (Mike), and Bonnie Dibble (Terry Taylor), all of the South Haven area, and April Dibble Holmes (Dan Holmes) of Ventura, CA.  She left behind a legacy of 12 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Margaret Daugherty of Muncie, Indiana. 

Visitation will be held from 12:00 to 1:00 pm at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home in South Haven, Michigan on December 29, 2018. The memorial service will be at 1:00 pm following the visitation. Ruth will be laid to rest at the Lakeview Cemetery in South Haven, Michigan. Contributions may be made in Ruth’s memory to the South Haven Memorial Library, 314 Broadway St., South Haven, MI 49090. Ruth was an avid reader and their help in keeping her in reading material was invaluable.
