Cynthia "Casey"'s Obituary
Cynthia “Casey” Anne Stellini, 64, of Grand Junction, passed away Friday, December 28, 2018 at the Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo. She was born May 17, 1954 to Phillip and Irma (Porenta) Stellini in Grand Rapids. Casey married Harry Rogalla in Kalamazoo in 2003 and they shared 15 years of marriage. She worked for Kalamazoo Public Safety for 25 years before retiring. Casey then became involved with the Van Buren Fire Fighter Training Council. Casey also worked at Consumers Credit Union and Village Market. She was involved with many clubs and organizations involving showing dogs, fish clubs, and bird clubs. Casey and her husband owned Littlestar Farms. Casey dearly loved every critter on the farm, but the horses were the love of her life. She was able to enter any barn, pasture or stall on the farm and recite the pedigree five generations back, much to the amazement of all. She was a Foundation breeder, member, and owner of many AHA, APHA, and AQHA horses. Her love and knowledge of the horse: foals, mares, or stallions ran very deep. The horse world lost a great, knowledgeable friend. She will be missed by many two and four legged friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Casey is survived by her husband, Harry Rogalla, and sister – Renee Grant Vartabedian of Texas.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2019 from 3:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. at Filbrandt Family Funeral Home in South Haven. Memorial Services will follow at 4:00 P.M. at the funeral home. A luncheon will follow the service at Lakeside Entertainment in South Haven. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Harry Rogalla to help pay for Casey’s medical expenses.
